Welcome to Mrs. Wright's Classroom

My name is Lora Wright, and I’m thrilled to begin my 20th year in Special Education—a journey that continues to inspire and challenge me in the best ways. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and a Master’s Degree in Supervision and Administration from Middle Tennessee State University.

Outside of the classroom, I have been married for 22 years and the proud mom of four incredible boys ranging in ages 8-19.  I have two, very spoiled dogs named Ozzy and Comet.  I love to travel and anything to do with the beach or Disney!

I’m truly excited to be a part of the Poplar Hill community and to work closely with you and your child this year. Building strong partnerships with families is key to student success, so please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns, or just to say hello.
