Welcome to Ms. Franklin's class

My name is Lesli Franklin. I am new to teaching in Rutherford County. For the past 17 years I have taught special education in Maury County. I grew up here in Murfreesboro and I am excited to be back in my hometown. I taught in the private sector for 10 years and then I went to the public sector for 7 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree from MTSU in Special Education and my Master's in Education from Tennessee State University. I am super excited to be working with all the amazing staff and students here at Poplar Hill Elementary. I am looking forward to a great school year!!
