IT’S TIME!

Enrollment and registration for the 2026–2027 school year are now underway!

Returning RCS families will receive an email today or tomorrow, July 22–23, with instructions for completing registration and verifying their student’s information. Emails are being sent gradually due to the large number of families, so please allow the entire day today and tomorrow before reporting that you have not received yours. Returning students must wait for this email before beginning registration.

Today was all about preparing for an amazing year at PHE! We welcomed our new-to-PHE teachers for a day of learning, connecting, and building strong foundations for the year ahead. We spent the morning getting to know PHE, our expectations, our people, and most importantly, the mission and shared purpose that guide everything we do. This afternoon, we shifted our focus to strong classroom management and the procedures and routines that create safe, predictable learning environments where every student can thrive. We are so excited to welcome these educators to the PHE family and can’t wait to see the impact they’ll make this year! Year Two: Stronger Together, Family Forever. Growing deeper. Reaching higher. #strongertogetherfamilyforever

If you experienced issues with the Synergy registration process yesterday, the issue should now be resolved. You should be able to log in using the username and password you created for your ParentVUE account. Please do not attempt to complete registration through the app. You must use the web-based version of ParentVUE through an internet browser such as Safari, Chrome, or Edge. If you do not remember your login information, select “I am a parent” and then “Forgot Password” on the ParentVUE login page: https://tn-rcs-psv.edupoint.com/PXP2_Login.aspx Thank you for your patience!

PHE Families,

We are excited as we prepare for Year Two at PHE and welcome our new neighbors at Poplar Hill Middle School! With the middle school opening, some traffic adjustments will be necessary. We anticipate that the first two weeks may require a little extra patience, but we are confident that everything will quickly begin running smoothly.

To make arrival and dismissal as efficient as possible for both campuses, PHE will have a new traffic pattern this year. Please carefully review the attached maps and become familiar with the new flow.

The biggest change is that the entrance for morning car rider drop-off and afternoon car rider pickup will now be the second entrance to PHE from Baker Road.

Second entrance: Morning car riders, afternoon car riders, and special education transportation pickup and drop-off

First entrance: Buses, PreK transportation, and afternoon green car riders

Afternoon green car riders: All PreK and kindergarten students, along with their siblings, are considered green car riders and will use the first entrance from Baker Road.

Kindergarten assistance: We will continue offering drop-off at the main entrance from 7:15–7:30 a.m. for kindergarten students who need a little extra assistance. These families should also use the first entrance from Baker Road.

As a reminder:
Morning drop-off is from 6:45–7:29 a.m.
Afternoon pickup is from 2:30–2:45 p.m.
Vehicles may not begin lining up before 1:45 p.m. each day.

During the first two weeks of school, staff members will be positioned throughout the campus to provide directions and help with any confusion. Our families did an outstanding job with arrival and dismissal last year, and I am confident we will become even more efficient this year!

We are also excited that vehicles will have the option to exit onto Blackman Road this year. This should help reduce congestion at the three-way intersection.

PHE has an amazing community, and I know our families will make these adjustments with patience and care while watching for middle school traffic and students who are walking. We are excited to partner with PHMS to create an incredible campus for our PreK–8th-grade students and families!

Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe and traffic moving smoothly!

As we begin Year Two at Poplar Hill Elementary, we wanted to reintroduce our PHE Principals tour new families so we can continue building on the strong foundation our students, staff, families, and community created together during our inaugural year.

At Poplar Hill, we believe relationships come first. We know that when schools and families work together, students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

One thing we want every family to know is that communication is key to success. We firmly believe that most concerns, questions, and misunderstandings can be solved or resolved by simply reaching out and having a conversation. That is exactly what we are here for.

We are committed to maintaining an open door, being accessible, and partnering with you every step of the way. Whether you have a question, a concern, or simply want to celebrate a success, we encourage you to connect with us.

Thank you for trusting us with your children and for being an essential part of the Poplar Hill family. We are honored to serve this community and look forward to another incredible year together.

Every Student. Every Day. Growing, Achieving, and Thriving.
